How did hup! originate?

hup! itself is more a method of construction, that emphasises speed, energy efficiency, and adaptability – evidenced by the fact construction is five times quicker than a traditional build.

How are hup! extensions energy efficient?

Compared with traditional extensions and conservatories, hup! options boast significant thermal efficiency, keeping them cool in the summer and warm in the winter, which in turn can save you money on energy bills.

hup! uses special glazing materials that insulate well, including double or triple glazing, or low emissivity coatings, a layer on the glass that reflects heat back into the building in winter and out in the summer.

As well as this, whilst traditional home extensions often use brick or thin walls, hup! walls utilise lightweight panels with high insulation. These materials can be uPVC, high-density foam, or high performance glass-reinforced plastic.

Ultrapanels are hup!’s unique insulated roof panels designed for high thermal performance, which may include having multiple layers with insulated materials trapped between them, a lightweight core, or a reflective surface.

The tight construction methods used in hup! also help to minimise air leaks, preventing drafts and helping to maintain a consistent temperature.
